Before venturing on as an Entrepreneur starting his own boutique Consulting Firm in 2017, Hernan was charged with Business Development at Wells Fargo being the initial conduit through which the bank delivers its Global Banking products and services to Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking clients in Florida. Prior to his current role Hernan spent 8 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he managed the Global Trade and Supply Chain, Asset Distribution and Portfolio Optimization businesses for Latin America. He also managed the Corporate Transaction Banking activities for Andean and Southern Cone regions as well as Trade business development responsibilities for the commercial bank in the Southeast US.
He also served as Head of Structured Trade and ECA Finance for Latin America at Wachovia Bank, headed Financial Institutions business Mexico and South America at Regions Bank, worked at Commerce Bank as a Regional Trade Officer and at Bladex (Trade Bank of Latin America) as a Country Manager and Structured Products Head.

Joel Mena is a tech entrepreneur and user experience (UX) evangelist. Throughout his career Joel
has held various product/design leadership roles for companies large and small and is a valued
advisor on user experience design, marketing, and emerging platforms.
For the past 6 years Joel has worked closely with startups and entrepreneurs, partnering with them to understand their needs and playing a key role in building and launching over a dozen products and companies across a wide range of verticals including: real estate, health, entertainment, education, and IoT to name a few.
In his current role as CEO and founder of JM Studios, Joel leads a multi-disciplinary team of creative professionals and leverages his extensive background in UX research, design thinking, strategy, product design to help early-stage founders to bring their visions to life.
In 2015 Joel launched the Real Estate Innovation Lab with the goal of helping real estate professionals and gov’t agencies drive economic development in their communities by leveraging augmented reality and 3D mapping technologies to visualize projects and help them connect with their audience by telling a better (more complete) story. Since its launch the company has been featured in a number of publications and industry events including eMerge Americas, Miami New Construction Show, Xplode, Creative Glue, Curbed, and Faces of Innovation among many others.
